A fine coach tour offering panoramic views of the unparalleled beauty of Florence, taking in Fiesole, a delightful town of Etruscan origin set on the hills overlooking Florence and the Arno Valley.

The tour continues to the old city centre for a visit to the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce (interior) where we can admire the tombs of Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and Rossini among others.

The tour continues with a guided tour of the famous Galleria degli Uffizi* where you can admire the superb paintings of Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio.

The tour includes lunch and drinks in a historic restaurant in the city centre.

Summary:

4 DAYS MINIMUM ADVANCE BOOKING REQUIRED. Tour does not include hotel pick-up; departure is from Piazza Stazione (specifics provided on your E-Ticket). Rates are per person in US dollars. Please reserve online or call us toll-free at 800-719-6391. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Drive along the romantic Viale dei Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo. There we will stop to admire the wonderful panorama of the city, one of the most beautiful in the world. The tour will then proceed by coach through the old city centre.

You will have an outdoor guided tour of the Duomo complex: the Baptistery with its bronze doors including the famous Porta del Paradiso and the visit of the Cathedral with the magnificent Cupola del Brunelleschi and Giotto's bell tower. A short walk through the historic streets of the heart of Florence brings you to the renowned Galleria dell'Accademia where you can admire the famous David by Michelangelo and other works by the great artist.

The tour continues with a guided tour of the famous Galleria degli Uffizi where you can admire the superb paintings of Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio. The tour ends inside the museum.

Notes:

~ Accademia is closed on Monday. You will visit the Bargello museum or the Medici Chapels instead. Uffizi is also closed on Monday. Replacing this tour, will be a visit to the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria.
